She is also a business coach, motivational speaker, a compassionate inspiring teacher in empowering hearing and Deaf women and men in discovery of inner special self! She is a member of various community organizations and offers various training to American Sign Language interpreters, Deaf professionals and community in area of language, culture, leadership, business, finance and health. David Livchiz, Co-Founder, Board Member
David Livchiz is Deaf himself and the co-founder of the Deaf Wellness Center. David is also the DWC Advisory Board Member. He graduated with a MA degree in Engineering and Manufactory in Moscow State University, Russia. He immigrated to United States from Russia over two decades ago. He has lots of experience in entrepreneurship and member of various Deaf organizations. He helped incorporating several small businesses and created jobs for the Deaf workers. His dream was to establish the first of a kind Deaf Wellness Center in United States and abroad. David enjoys life, meeting new people, loves art and share his passion with others. Linda Cummings, Administrative Assistant
She originally from California and moved to New York City several years ago. After retiring from 32-years working for AT&T she became an active member of the Deaf community serving as Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness Community President, worked as teacher aide at the Communication Center of the Development working with Deaf clients who imigrated from other countries and who was seeking an employment. Linda is also avid bowler and her passion is to travel, meeting new people and serve the community.
Boris Reytblat, Program Director
He received BA degree in accounting from Hunter College in NYC, BA degree in International Affairs from Northeastern Univesity in Boston and MA in Deaf Rehab from New York University. Boris has more than 10 years of experience working with non-profit agencies in providing services to Deaf clients with mental health and development disabilities. He is interested in economics, finance, history and politics. Boris also works as a tax preparer. In spare time, he loves travelling, dining out at different ethnic restaurants, reading the news on iPad, exploring technology and foreign films. He currently resides in New York City.
